Blacklists is one form of the Campaign Manager's policy management.
There are two forms of blacklist, one for email, and a different one for SMS. They respectively allow the specification of email addresses and phone numbers that should be excluded from campaigns.
Any email address listed here (blaklisted) will be blocked from all email blast campaigns. The Campaign Manager allows the tracking of the reason the email address was blacklisted. This information is very valuable when analyzing the result of any campaign. The number of mobile users that requested being blacklist provides key information on the campaign. It is always best practice to provide all users the option to easily opt-out of any campaigns. Please see the automatic configuration of blacklists under Subscription Lists or the automatic opt-out feature {UNSUBSCRIBE} on Email Broadcasts as examples of how the Campaign Manager simplies the creation and management of blacklists. Email addresses can be blacklisted bu inputting them one by one, or uploading them from a file:
When inputting the email addresses one by one specify the following fields:

Reason | What action prompted the blacklisting on the email address. It could the use of the {UNSUBSCRIBE} feature or the user calling the customer care helpdesk |
